Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Moni. Written to be clear. Please read them — they include important information about your rights, our limitations, and how payments work.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Moni ("the Service"), a product of FinentLabs ("we," "our," or "us"), a Delaware company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Moni Telegram bot (@monitrackerbot) and any associated web properties at getmoni.tech.

Description of Service

Moni is an AI-powered personal finance assistant accessible via Telegram. The Service allows users to log financial transactions through natural language, track spending patterns, scan receipts, create financial goals, and receive AI-generated insights about their personal finances. Moni is offered in two tiers:

  • Free Tier: Limited to 10 transaction logs and 5 AI conversation messages per account.
  • Paid Subscription: Unlimited transaction logging, unlimited AI conversations, receipt scanning (up to 20 per day), and advanced features as described at getmoni.tech.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Moni. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using Moni on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

User Accounts & Telegram Identity

Moni does not maintain a traditional account system. Your identity within Moni is tied to your Telegram account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Telegram account, as access to it constitutes access to your Moni data.
  • All activity that occurs under your Telegram identity within the Service.
  • Notifying us immediately at hello@getmoni.tech if you believe your account has been compromised.

To request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, email hello@getmoni.tech with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will process deletions within 30 days. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

Payments & Subscriptions

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy LLC, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service in addition to these Terms. Lemon Squeezy handles all tax obligations including VAT and GST in applicable jurisdictions.

Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal link in your confirmation email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access to paid features until then.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice via the bot and/or email. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you via the bot. Access to paid features may be suspended until payment is successfully completed. We are not liable for any loss of data or functionality resulting from suspension due to non-payment.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Transmit any malicious code, spam, or content designed to disrupt the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service in unintended ways.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or any other technical controls.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access, without refund.

MONI IS NOT A LICENSED FINANCIAL ADVISOR, BROKER, INVESTMENT ADVISOR, OR TAX PROFESSIONAL. ALL CONTENT, ANALYSIS, INSIGHTS, AND RESPONSES GENERATED BY MONI ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. NOTHING IN THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, TAX, LEGAL, OR ACCOUNTING ADVICE. DO NOT MAKE FINANCIAL DECISIONS BASED SOLELY ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY MONI. ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL BEFORE MAKING SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL DECISIONS.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Service — including the software, AI models, design, text, graphics, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to FinentLabs. You retain all rights to the financial data you input into the Service. By submitting data, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINENTLABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your use at any time by ceasing to use the bot and cancelling your subscription. Data deletion procedures are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@getmoni.tech. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify users via the bot with at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
